The City of Adel is now accepting applications for the full-time, non-exempt position of City Clerk.

This position, which reports to the Finance Director at Adel City Hall, is responsible for a variety of functions, including but not limited to:

  • Meeting agendas and minutes
  • Records management
  • Publications
  • Payroll
  • Managing the City’s website and social media
  • Oversight of the City’s cemetery

Some evening work is required.

Education & Experience

A four-year degree and/or prior experience as a City Clerk is strongly preferred.

Salary & Benefits

The starting annualized salary range for this position is $53,000 to $56,000 DOQ.

The City offers a comprehensive benefits package and retirement through the State of Iowa (IPERS).
