Envision Adel 2040 - City of Adel Comprehensive Plan Update

The City of Adel is excited to kick-off Envision Adel 2040, an update to the City’s 2009 Comprehensive Plan.

The new plan will address land use, housing, commercial and industrial development, sustainability and the environment, transportation and infrastructure, parks and recreation, and community facilities and services.

The process began in late 2018 and is expected to conclude by the end of 2019. Several public meetings and/or opportunities for feedback will be available in 2019.

The City has engaged Confluence to lead this effort. Confluence has partnered with McClure Engineering, the City’s engineering firm.
