Due to inclement weather, this meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 26: 02-26-2019 Comprehensive Planning Workshop
The City of Adel is excited to announce the kick-off of the planning process to create a new Comprehensive Plan for the City.
The new Comprehensive Plan, entitled Envision Adel 2040, will address land use, housing, commercial and industrial development, sustainability and the environment, transportation and infrastructure, parks and recreation, and community facilities and services.
Residents are encouraged to attend the public workshop to provide their insight and vision for the future of Adel. The public workshop will include a presentation with an overview of the planning process as well as a series of engagement exercises to help gain feedback for the plan.
The meeting will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, in the Community Room at the Adel Public Library located at 303 S 10th Street, Adel, IA.
