This page is intended for public dissemination of materials reviewed by the Adel City Council and Citizen Focus Group, to answer questions from the residents, and make public announcements regarding the Adel Highway 169 Growth & Safety Projects.

In December 2021, the Iowa Department of Transportation reduced the speed limits south of town by 5 m.p.h. to address the safety concerns.

Previously, a community presentation was held on February 21, 2019 to review potential project options. However, after further review, no official projects by the City or the DOT were implemented.
