The City of Adel Public Works Department is scheduled to repair a water main leak on Thursday, February 4 in the downtown area.
The work, which will occur in the alleyway between Main and Prairie from S. 6th Street to S. 9th Street, is anticipated to begin around 9:00 a.m.
It should wrap up around lunchtime, but the exact timeline will be highly dependent on any issues uncovered and on the weather.
The work will require water to be shut off to customers in the red area of the attached map during the repair period (i.e., customers from 6th to 9th Streets between the south side of Main and the north side of Prairie).
