Mosquito Spraying

The City of Adel is scheduled to spray for mosquitoes during the evening of Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Depending on the weather, the spraying will begin that night between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and should last several hours. The wind and the temperature may affect the spraying decisions (e.g., whether the sprayer drives directly past a house or just in the general area, whether the spraying occurs once in an area or multiple times, etc.) This spraying is in addition to the spraying scheduled on Thursday, September 2nd, as only half of the City of Adel was completed on that date.
