The City of Adel, Iowa is now accepting applications for the non-exempt position of Water – Wastewater Operator.
This is a full-time position reporting to the City’s Public Works Director and working closely with the City’s Water Superintendent and Wastewater Superintendent.
This position performs a variety of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the City’s water and wastewater systems, including:
- Water treatment and distribution
- Plant
- Wells
- Towers
- Wastewater treatment and collection
- Plant
- Lagoons
- Manholes
- Lift stations

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
