Island Park & Campground in Adel provides amenities for tent and mobile-home campers, including a water source, restrooms, showers, outlets, and fire pits. It also offers fun for the whole family with soccer fields, a basketball court, paved roads, horseshoe pits, a shelter, and playground equipment. It’s a great place to fish and boat, and it also boasts a portage/boat ramp to navigate the low-head dam.
To get to Island Park, cross the bridge on the north edge of Adel and take the first right off of highway 169. Take an immediate right onto a gravel road. Follow this road out to the park.
